Maruca Design

Maruca bags are made with Jacquard fabrics, which means that the fabric patterns are woven using a special loom. We work in partnership with small independent U.S. fabric mills and the content of our fabrics can vary. Most of the threads are cotton, rayons and synthetics, and some threads are even made from recycled plastic bottles.

Twice a year we offer a new seasonal collection. Over the years we have learned from Maruca collectors that while they never tire of bags they’ve purchased in the past, the thrill of viewing and acquiring new bags each season has become a personal tradition.
